EQUIPMENT FOR SALE

Rowing Shells:
We have had MANY orders for boats this year. We have 6 Mission 20/20s left from our bulk order that will arrive in June or early July, and any Mission Offshore 16s, 21s, or T6s are built to order and still able to receive in July if ordered right away. We should have OarBoards in stock through the summer, but don't delay if you are looking for equipment this summer. Checkout our equipment page for details on our different boats.

Key Log Rolling:
New last year we start selling log rolling logs. They are synthetic logs made to competition standard and are so much fun. Great for building coordination, balance and core strength - we would highly recommend these to anyone looking for an amazing addition to their waterfront. We will have ours up and going at our Port Carling location at Duke's as soon as the water warms up JUST a little!! You can check them out on our website here

JUNIOR COACHING OPPORTUNITIES - New this year!

We are offering junior coaching positions to up to 5 of our rowers in Port Carling who are going into grade 9 and older. These are volunteer positions where you will learn how to coach while you shadow our coaches and help out around the rowing centre. Please email us if you are interested in one of these 5 positions.
How it works:
- You volunteer for one weekday morning a week for the summer (7:30am - noon)
- We teach you to coach! You will learn to coach through shadowing one of our coaches during their sessions as well as through our program and coaching outlines.
- When you go back to school, we'll pay for your first coaching certification course through RowOntario on your way to becoming a rowing coach.
Why do this?
- You get to hang out at Hatchets more!
- You'll learn a new skill and be able to help others enjoy this awesome sport.
- You'll learn to work as a team, interact with many people, take some coaching certification courses, and work towards a paid coaching position at Hatchets Rowing Centre. Rowing and coaching are tools you can use around the world.
