Let's make the most of winter!
The snow has arrived! Time for tobogganing, skating, skiing and snow shoeing! What a great season for outdoor fitness and indoor warm drinks by the fire.
As we move into this new season it is important to remember our health and fitness and make sure we are doing things to support our outdoor activities and keep our whole body fit, strong and flexible.
ONLINE INDOOR ROWING CLASSES
As we all know (since we already love rowing!) - rowing provides a full body low impact workout to build our strength and fitness in order to keep us fit and healthy. If you love outdoor winter activities, it will ensure you get the most out of these while preventing injuries. If you like to stick close to the fire in the winter, it will ensure you still stay in great shape.
Join us from your living room on your own machine and we'll go through a great 1hr rowing session together. Don't be intimidated by the length, this includes a warmup, technique review and fun workout to keep your mind busy so it will be fun and you'll get a great workout. We use Concept2 rowers, but if you have a WaterRower or another machine feel free to join in and we’ll make sure the workout works for you!

Our good friends at Namast'ay In Muskoka offer live streamed yoga classes most days of the week. If you can incorporate AT LEAST one session into your weekly routine it will help lengthen and strengthen muscles, build your balance and flexibility and bring physical and mental health through mindful movement, thought and breathing.
