Can you believe that it's already the last week of summer?

This Week's Focus is Mental and Physical Wellness

This week's focus is Mental and Physical Wellness! As we move into the colder seasons, it is important to take care of your mental and physical health. There are many things you can do to take care of your physical health including getting lots of sleep, eating good food, drinking lots of water, and staying active! Figure out what works for you and stick with it all season long! Being mindful of your mental health is important too - things like meditating, journaling, listening to music and spending time with friends and family are great for helping take care of your mental health.

Fall Rowing

Fall rowing! This Fall we will have fitness rows on both Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30 to 6:30! Sign up here! Fall rowing will start on September 6th and run until October 6th - just before Thanksgiving!

Row From Gravenhurst to Port Carling

Wow what a great row! Earlier this week Kathy, Jeremy, Lily and Christine took the quad out to Gravenhurst and rowed all the way back to Hatchets in Port Carling! It was about 30kms of rowing! Check out the course video here! 

Log Rolling

Saturday was the LAST Log Rolling Challenge of the Summer! We kicked off the challenge with Paul Anthony and Joseph on the log together. After Paul Anthony took the win, Lily and Graham went head to head for two rounds winning once each and then Graham took the win to move on! Then Paul Anthony went up against Graham and once again Graham moved on to the final with Jeremy! Graham took the first. Jeremy took the second! Then finally, once again, Graham was the winner!! Graham did really well this summer and has won a ton of the challenges all summer long!

We've had a ton of fun with these challenges every week and it's been awesome watching all our log rollers improve all summer long! See you all next summer!
