Congratulations to Kennedy Burrows, who placed 2nd out of more than 60 competitors in her category, on February 4th at the Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships in Toronto!!!!

Kennedy started rowing with Hatchets Port Carling in our Learn to Row program in 2014 and has rowed every season since. This last summer she trained with our competitive program and is now training with our new Parry Sound coach Marie LaForme who is helping setup a rowing centre in Parry Sound! Marie has been involved in rowing since birth, born into a rowing family, now with a family of her own, she is taking on coaching our competitive program in Parry Sound.

Although quiet on the dock, Kennedy is very driven and will push herself to her limit to improve on the water and on the rowing machine.
