So we didn’t push off the dock last night. It was sunset. We were scrambling to be finished everything after having a super fun relaxed day getting ready and a late lunch with friends. So…..we decided to stay at a dock….our dock…and shove off in the morning. We can pretend we’re already on our trip…right????

This morning we went paddle boarding and by the time we were done there was a perfect breeze to sail off the dock….no motor needed!

Not fast sailing by any stretch. So slow in fact that we swam and played on the dingy while we were sailing (Larry and Sue - cover your eyes - big no no). It was amazing with the hot weather.

We arrived at Wreck Island (better than it sounds) around noon for a swim, lunch,swim, fish, swim, hike, SWIM, saw a rattlesnake, SWIM and then found a place to anchor.

There’s supposed to be a bit of thunder/lightning/rain tonight so we anchored, got our rain cover out, then got to work learning a Zac Brown song with a glass of scotch - Katie and David - you guys should be here to play with us!
