Looking back

At this time of year, I am usually in the process of making changes to programs online, updating pictures, scheduling for the on water season and just generally reviewing for the coming season. It is usually tedious, but rewarding in the end. I also really like coming across pictures that bring back some great memories. Hard to believe that with our first season being 2009, we are now going into our 8th season on the water. With kids that will both be in school in September, and kids who we coached in high school now married, buying houses and having kids, the group of pictures to look back on continues to grow.

I thought I'd share a couple that are pretty fun that I came across, I think they'll definitely bring back some fond memories for others as well!

Our first traffic pattern in progress. This was painted by Amanda Sherrington while she was coaching with us that first year in 2009 in Minett.

The crab shack. With storage for lifejackets, whistles, coaching notes and our printer on the inside and oar storage on the outside. What more do you need?? With the added bonus of being able to take it ice fishing in the winter.

A shot of the crab shack from another angle. Complete with racking off to the side in the parking lot at Wallace Marine for boat storage. I can only imagine what my colleagues from the job I left as an Engineer were thinking at this point.
