Welcome! Before joining your first rowing program:
Start by completing a Learn to Row program, with us or with another club. Then, depending on age, join one of the programs below!

Ages 8-13 Years - Junior Scullers

Our Junior Scullers Programs focus on developing technique, fitness, water awareness and fun. Our 6 level program takes rowers ages 8 - 13 from entry level into the sport up until they are ready to join our competitive or fitness rowing programs. Levels are based on skill - so new rowers join at Level 1, and rowers progress through the levels at their own pace.

Ages 14 & Up

For kids ages 14 and up, there are lots of options.

Our programs fall into 2 categories: those focused on training to compete (Competitive Based), and those focused on fitness, technique and on water enjoyment (Fitness Based) - not that they are always exclusive!!

Competitive Based

We have 3 levels of competitive programs. All programs have a high coach to rower ratio and training is all in singles (1 person boats).

Accelerate: For those wishing to compete, but are new to rowing. 2 on-water practices a week + additional workouts assigned.

Comp 1: For those who have completed the Junior Scullers or Accelerate Program wishing to start competing in various types of rowing races. This programs focuses on training properly to build fitness and technique and prepare for races. 2 on-water practices a week + additional workouts assigned.

Comp 2: This is a higher training volume program. 5 on-water practices a week, 6 assigned individual workouts and regular testing for those need to complete time trials as part of their regular training for another program.

Fitness Based

Fitness Rowing: For those wishing to build and maintain excellent physical and mental health and enjoy the beautiful waterways. Rowers row at their own pace, and coaches travel from rower to rower throughout a session to ensure each rower gets feedback on their rowing, while also having lots of time to enjoy rowing without someone following right behind them. We support our fitness rowers with their individual strength, flexibility and technique goals, and we also all enjoy recounting what wildlife and views we saw while out rowing.
